WiBLOC Standard Block

Because the blocks interlock, the total length of the structure increases by 1.65 metres with each additional block. In other words, each additional connected block extends the structure by an effective length of 1.65 metres.

WiBLOC offers gates ranging from 3 to 10 metres, allowing roads to be fully closed off with ease. Thanks to their design, they can be reopened just as quickly to provide emergency services with unrestricted access.

In certain situations, it may be more practical to connect WiBLOC elements laterally rather than using the standard connection at the end of the block. This may be the case when space is limited, when a specific passage needs to remain clear, or when site conditions require an alternative configuration. To ensure maximum flexibility, we offer WiBLOC elements with both left-hand and right-hand connections. This allows the most efficient and secure connection to be achieved for any configuration — whether straight, curved, or arranged in a more complex layout.

Our standard blocks are 70 cm high, but for enhanced safety, we have developed a dedicated emergency escape passage. This element features a lowered section measuring 30 cm in height and 1.5 metres in width, allowing people to evacuate quickly and easily in emergency situations, even in dense crowds. Thanks to the continuous concrete reinforcement, the structural strength is fully maintained, allowing the block to be seamlessly installed between standard WiBLOC blocks without compromising stability or strength.

We also supply planters that can be easily placed on top of the WiBLOC blocks or, if desired, on an emergency escape block. In the latter case, the planter reaches the same height as the adjacent blocks, creating a uniform appearance. The planters not only increase the total weight, thereby improving the stability of the structure, but also provide a friendlier and more attractive appearance. The greenery softens the robust or industrial character of the installation, allowing it to blend more harmoniously into the streetscape without compromising its functional properties.
